Suiko Consulting is a specialist advisor to sports, major events and tourism.

We know what it takes to change the game.

Suiko was established in 2010 to enable sports and events to have access to cost effective
expertise from consultants with direct experience in leading and managing sports and major events. Each of us has worked internationally in careers that span multiple cultures in senior management and board roles.

We are playmakers – we improve performance and create opportunities for the future for our clients. Our success is borne out of an integrated approach. We’re at our best when we combine our strategic thinking with creative ideas and delivery smarts.

EUGÉNIE BUCKLEY

LLM, LLB (Hons), BCom

Eugénie is a strategic thinker and natural rebel who aims to always make a difference. She was actively involved in the design and delivery of innovative new formats of Duel in the Pool, Global Rapid Rugby, ICC World Twenty20, A-League and W-League. At just 30 years of age Eugénie was appointed to the international Court of Arbitration for Sport and, in 2005, was the first female to be appointed to an Asian Football Confederation Committee. She has been CEO of a Local Organising Committee, National Sporting Organisation, professional Football Club and professional players’ association and negotiated multi-million dollar global broadcast and sponsorship deals. Eugénie has formal legal and business finance qualifications.

Anita P 2023

ANITA PALM 

BSc OLY

Anita has a vast knowledge of navigating and communicating with Olympic Sports and the ecosystems in which they live. Beginning her career in sport administration whilst training for the Olympics, she has an intimate appreciation of athlete-centred strategy and planning. Anita is a well respected advisor to Olympic bidding cities and OCOGs, including Rio, London, Beijing, Athens and Sydney. Most recently, she was Sport Director, Commonwealth Games 2018 and conceived, developed and led a strategy of real partnership with NSOs that recognised their expertise to drive maximum legacy and she innovated through a number of world firsts, such as gender equal events and community fun run in the marathon.

Anita is a well respected advisor to Olympic bidding cities and OCOGs.

George P 2023

GEORGE PARAMANANTHAN

LLM, LLB, B Com

George is our DEI and Integrity Advisor. He is senior lawyer who has worked across several industry sectors including arts, media and entertainment, retail (luxury and FMCG), logistics and professional services. George’s past roles include Head of Legal & Compliance, Regional Ethics Officer, Head of Operational Risk, Business Transitions Director and Acting CEO & COO for multi-national corporations. He has also advised organisations like Diversity Council of Australia, Arts Law Centre of Australia, Fox Sports Pulse, SportsTG, SingTel Optus, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Westpac Bank, GE Digital. George speaks Mandarin and Malay.

George is a senior lawyer and provides expertise in governance, integrity and diversity and inclusion.

JULIET TETLEY

BA Hons (French, Econ, Management)

Juliet is our Project Manager. Her expertise lies in events and venue operations. Juliet
has performed event manager roles for the Commonwealth Games 2018 Gold Coast,
Wallabies, NSW Waratahs, Football NSW, Australian University Games, and British and Irish Lions tour. Previously, Juliet was Women’s Project Manager at the International
Cricket Council responsible for the global integration of the women’s game and worked
at the International Tennis Federation. She is fluent in French and Spanish.
