Swimming 2032

SWIMMING 2032: OUR DECADE OF OPPORTUNITY

Developed the Swimming Australia Strategic Plan, which provides the blueprint for collaboration with purpose with all stakeholders to drive the increased capability, relevance and sustainability of Swimming as we power towards a home Olympics and Paralympics 2032.

ONE SAILING GOVERNANCE MODEL

Transition from the traditional federated structure of Australian Sailing to a centralised operations model, in an Australian sport first. The project focused on a whole-of-sport audit of services supplied / required across the country to innovate a new delivery model.

NRL SHIELD

Risk Management Framework for National Rugby League, including development of Venue Minimum Standards and Venue Security Operations Standards and independent club and venue risk assessments.

FOOTBALL AUSTRALIA

Strategic advice on Bid vision and concept planning for Australia’s solo bid and subsequently the joint bid with New Zealand, strengths and competitor analysis, and economic impact assessment.

GLOBAL RAPID RUGBY

Commercial and strategic advice to the privately funded Asia Pacific club rugby competition, which introduced changes to the Laws of the Game to reward risk taking and focused equally on fan engagement and tech innovation.

FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2023 SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY

Framed within FIFA’s sustainability goals, we developed a bespoke Sustainability Strategy for the FIFA Women’s World Cup AU-NZ 2023. The Strategy’s 28 actions were selected through a materiality matrix highlighting the most important and impactful actions to drive optimal sustainable outcomes for the tournament.

DESTINATION NSW MAJOR EVENT STRATEGY 2030

Key member of the development of the NSW Major Events Strategy 2030 that supports the Visitor Economy Strategy’s priorities, providing a blueprint to position Sydney and NSW as the events capital of the Asia-Pacific.

GC Sports Plan

GOLD COAST SPORT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY STRATEGY 2022 - 2027

Our team led the development of Gold Coast’s Sport & Physical Activity Strategy 2027.  Through community and sector consultation, the strategy used an equity lens to plan for transformational impact and enable more people to be more active, more often throughout their life. 

BRISBANE MAJOR EVENTS STRATEGY 2020

Development of a strategic framework and events portfolio to prioritise investment and maximise the economic, tourism and social outcomes from the staging of major events in Brisbane. This incorporated an Action Plan with initiatives, timeframes and budget.

AFC CLUB LICENSING

Conduct of Club Licensing Audits for clubs participating in AFC Championships League, AFC Cup and national leagues covering governance, finance, venues, coaching and youth development. These audits were supported by Educational Seminars to promote continual improvement in football management across Asia.

NETBALL QUEENSLAND

Development of “Netball United” 2020-22 and “Game On” 2017-19 Strategic Plans across a 10 year transformational horizon covering the Queensland Firebirds, Nissan Arena and a large community base. The Plan directly targeted unifying the membership, adapting and delivering innovation.
